Barnabas Zentrum retreats are held at Hotel Pension Eden in Baden, Austria.  Baden is located just off the A2 autobahn one half hour south of Vienna.  Pension Eden is a cosy little hotel close to beautiful parks and walking paths in the Vienna Woods.  Our guests are accomodated in comfortable private rooms with showers, toilet, towels and linens. The garden area and nearby Rosarium (a large Rose park with thousands of roses and small lake) provides a relaxing, restful, atmosphere for quiet reflection. The surrounding woods are perfect for enjoyable hikes or walks.

The village of Baden, just a stroll away, is famous for its mineral baths with a large glass enclosed pool area.  Baden also was the home of Ludvig Von Beethoven while he wrote his famous 9th Symphony.

During the middle of the retreat, attendees have time on their weekend off to explore and enjoy this part of Austria. Down town Vienna can be reached in minutes by local train.

Directions:

If arriving by car, take the A2 autobahn south of Vienna to the Baden exit 21.  When you exit the motorway, turn left at the traffic light toward Baden on highway 210.  Follow highway 210 for 6.6 kilometer through 5 more traffic lights then turn right toward Baden West.  Follow the green signs to Pension Eden for approximately 1 kilometer. 

Schloss Heroldeck Family Retreat Site and Directions:

Family retreats will be held at Schloss Heroldeck in Millstatt, Austria.   Just off the A10 Autobahn approximately 4 hours from Munich by car, two hours from Salzburg or one hour from Klagenfurt.   Take the the Spittal/Millstatt exit off the A10.  As you exit the motorway you come to a traffic light, turn left at the light towards Seeboden.  From this point it is 7.7 Kilometers to Schloss Heroldeck.  Proceed through Seeboden and Millstatt.  Approximately 1/2 kilometer past Millstatt Schloss Heroldeck's entrance is on the left.
